Win a $1000 Shopping Spree
1. To enter, go to www.canadianliving.com, Limit of one online entry per person per day. Online entries must be received by November 2, 2004 11:59 pm (EST). No purchase necessary.
2. Neither Transcontinental Media nor Spanner will be responsible for late, lost, destroyed, incomplete, illegible or wrongly addressed entries in connection with this contest. Sponsors will not be responsible for the failure or malfunction of any computer software, hardware or telecommunications equipment affecting participation in or any other aspect of this contest.
3. Prizing:
- Spanner Shopping Spree approx. retail value: $1000 (Canadian
dollars), Cannot be combined with any other offer. Cannot
be exchanged for a store credit and has no cash value. The
$1000 cash value applies only to regular priced merchandise
and will be applied after taxes.
- Personal wardrobe consultation from Spanner
- (1 ticket) Flight and limousine will be provided to the
winner maximum retail value $1000 (Canadian dollars) (if
applicable)
- Shopping spree will take place at Spanner's showroom located
in Kitchener, Ontario
- The prize winner are solely responsible for all costs
not expressly described herein including, without limitation,
additional ground transportation (if applicable), all meals,
beverages, room service, gratuities, merchandise, telephone
calls, insurance together with any travel documentation,
and all personal expenses of any kind or nature, together
with any applicable overnight layover.

Prize (Shopping spree) must be redeemed by November 29, 2004 Prize is not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash value.
4. A random draw - from all eligible entries received before the contest closing date will be made at 1pm on November 5, 2004. In order to win, the selected entrants must first correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question and may be required to sign a standard publicity/liability release confirming compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of their prize as awarded; consenting to the use of their name and photo in any contest-related publicity and releasing the sponsors from liability. No substitution for, or transfer of, prizes will be allowed. Spanner reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component with another prize or prize component of equal or greater value. All prizes will be delivered to confirmed winners only.
5. The contest is open to all residents of Canada only who have reached the age of 21 as of September 1, 2004 in their province of residence except employees of Transcontinental Media, Spanner, their affiliated companies, advertising and promotional agencies and all persons with whom these employees are domiciled.
6. All decisions of the contest judge(s) are final. The chance of being selected depends upon the total number of entries received. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. Only one prize per family, household or address will be awarded. Contest sponsors reserve the right, in that sole discretion to terminate this contest or to alter the contest rules at any time without notice.
7. All entries become the property of Transcontinental Media and the information on these entry forms may be made available for promotional purposes by Transcontinental Media and third parties unless entrants request otherwise.
8. Quebec residents may submit any litigation regarding the conduct or administration of this publicity contest to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
